In fact, making the time to interact on a forum regarding your niche can really help you stand out to your target audience and get a lot of information about what they are looking for. You may even end up understanding what they are looking for better than they do, which will give you a lot of opportunities to create content that answers questions they currently have and questions they didn’t even know they had.

Topics that get a lot of interaction on those sites can get you a lot of interaction on your blog when you write about it. You can even go back to Yahoo Answers or a forum and mention your post about the specific topic at hand. This can help you get a ton of traffic from the forum that wants to read what you have to say.

Just remember that if you are constantly putting your links on forums, you will get banned from those forums. Once in a while is OK, but you need to be an active part of the forum and not just post when you want to get a link out there.

Be as weird, funny, or serious as you want to be. Just be you. There can never be another blogger out there exactly like you if you are authentic.
