Vitamin B12

Vitamins are essential nutrients which we must have daily for normal growth and development. Vitamins are categorized into two groups i.e. water soluble (vitamins B and C) and fat soluble (vitamins A, D, E and K). There is a keen interest among health professionals to use vitamins not only to support treatment but also as preventive therapy for some diseases. Vitamins are required daily in small quantities to work optimally to boost the immune system and promote optimal tissue and organ function. There is insufficient evidence from clinical research to demonstrate the effectiveness of mega doses of vitamins as therapy. Some vitamins if use above the recommended daily dose can result in toxicity.

What is Vitamin B12?

B-complex vitamins include Vitamins B1, B2, B3, B6, B9 and B12. Vitamin B12 is a water-soluble vitamin which plays a key role with the formation of red blood cells. It is also essential for the proper functioning of nerve cells and by extension, the nervous system and the brain. Vitamin B12 is needed for metabolism at the cellular level to synthesize DNA, amino acid and fatty acids. The structure of Vitamin12 is comprised of vitamers and cobalt.  We are not able to synthesize Vitamin B12 but it is produced by certain bacteria. We in turn get our source of Vitamin B12 from the food we eat.

Synthetic Vitamin B12 is produced commercially in large quantities. This is done by chemically modifying bacterial hydroxocobalamin. This synthetic Vitamin B12 is an important ingredient for the pharmaceutical and food industries. The food industry uses it to fortify foods especially cereals and health drinks. Dietary supplement of all kinds include Vitamin B12 in the formula for multivitamins but is also available as a single vitamin.

Why is Vitamin B12 necessary?

The association of Vitamin B12 with an autoimmune illness called pernicious anemia underscored for health professionals and researchers, the importance of this vitamin. Vitamin B12 is required for proper red blood cell formation. Researchers have also demonstrated the integral requirement for Vitamin B12 to prevent other neurological disorders.  Vitamin B12 deficiency can cause severe damage, to the brain and nervous system. Symptoms as mild as fatigue, depression, and poor memory could be as a result of Vitamin B12 deficiency. More severe symptoms are psychosis and mania.

What are the signs of Vitamin B 12 Deficiency?

Vitamin B12 (cobalamin) deficiency is a common disorder with potential irreversible hematological and neurological consequences. The main causes of vitamin B12 deficiency include vitamin B12 malabsorption from food, pernicious anemia, postsurgical malabsorption, and dietary deficiency However, in many cases, the cause of vitamin B12 deficiency is unknown. The following groups are among those most likely to be vitamin B12 deficient.

Elderly persons: Individuals with atrophic gastritis are unable to absorb the vitamin B12 that is naturally present in food.  Atrophic gastritis is a condition which affects 10%–30% of older population. In this type of gastritis there is a decrease in the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach. This in turn results in decreased absorption of vitamin B12. In addition to this, decreased hydrochloric acid levels might also increase the growth of normal intestinal bacteria that use vitamin B12.

Synthetic vitamin B12 added to fortified foods and dietary supplements is fairly well tolerated with good absorption by the intestinal tract. The IOM recommends vitamin B12 supplements and fortified foods for adults 50 years and older. Elderly patients with atrophic gastritis require higher doses to prevent vitamin B12 deficiency.

SEMrush Review: Why All Internet Marketers Should Give This Tool A Try

SEMrush claims that you can be a digital marketing rock star using their tool, but do you really need this tool to be a digital marketing rock star? Can’t you just do it alone? I don’t think so, but I’ll let you decide for yourself. This SEMrush review will talk about how it works, who is using it, the benefits and cons of it, and why I think that all internet marketers should give this tool a serious try to experience exactly how powerful it can be.

How Does SEMrush Work?

SEMrush is not a software that you have to download. It’s an online tool that you can use in every aspect of your internet marketing plan. Many tools focus on one or two aspects of internet marketing, but SEMrush focuses on many things, such as:

– Your top competitors and their keyword strategy, ad strategy, backlinks, and progress.
– Keywords that don’t have a lot of competition and are easier to rank for.
– How two domains stack up against each other.
– How your site is doing, including errors, warnings, notices, and top issues using their site audit tool.
– SEO advice personalized to your site.
– The ability to monitor your brand and measure your efforts to get it out
– Your competitor’s top content, which gives you an inside look into what type of content works well in your niche.

Plus so much more. SEMrush is a tool (with many features and benefits) where you can get all of your internet marketing work done in one place, which is why it is so desirable to many people.

And you are able to get all of your SEMrush data gathered into one PDF report. This is great for businesses who want to keep tabs on their progress or companies who want to help their clients understand how beneficial they are to their business and exactly what their money is getting them.

Who Is Using It?

Not too long ago it was really easy to rank in the search engines without a lot of knowledge. When I first started, I quickly got to the top page of Google with many hot keywords simply by adding a ton of keywords to my content and then linking to myself from as many places as I could.

My content wasn’t bad. It wasn’t copied or low-quality, but my SEO strategy was definitely focused on getting as much as I could from doing as little as I could. Then, during one of Google’s famous updates, my site took a hit. It was pretty much dropped from Google and I quickly realized that cheap backlinks and keyword strategies weren’t going to cut it for me anymore because getting ranked and getting traffic suddenly became much harder to do. I decided that great content wasn’t enough anymore. Now I needed to have a great marketing strategy in place too.

I think that’s the story a lot of internet marketers have about how they started using tools like SEMrush. We all needed a clearer vision of what our best competitors were doing to maintain their high rankings in the search engines as well as how we were really doing with our efforts. We could no longer get by on ignorance. When it came to keyword research, backlinks, and advertising, we needed a better way.

If that resonates with you at all, then believe me, SEMrush will be something that will benefit you. It will help you understand what works in search engine marketing for your site, what you are currently doing wrong, and what is working for your competitors in terms of backlinks, keywords, and ads. SEMrush will help you build a marketing plan that will work.

In addition, many internet marketing companies are using SEMrush to separate them from other internet marketing companies. I would think that anyone who runs an internet marketing business will make this tool one of their important business expenses. It can give them the edge to help their clients succeed online and make a name for themselves as one of the top businesses to help clients get real results without having to do the work for themselves. That’s a valuable thing in this age of limited time!

The Big Benefits Of SEMrush

This SEMrush review isn’t about breaking everything down bit by bit. If you decide to use SEMrush, you will need to do some work to discover everything that the tool can offer you, because there is a lot! But, following are some of the biggest benefits of SEMrush that you need to be aware of.

Uncover Your Competitors Strategy

Long Tail Pro Review: Do You Really Need This Tool?

They say Long Tail Pro is the best tool for long tail keyword research, but what does it really offer you, and do you really need it? I know how it feels to wonder if you should spend money on a tool that may or may not help out your online success, which is why I wanted to do a Long Tail Pro review. I want you to leave knowing if this is a product that will be a good investment and help you get more traffic, more leads, make more money, and have more success overall. So let’s get into it!

What Is Long Tail Pro?

It’s a paid software that can help you find long tail keywords – plain and simple. You can download the software on up to 3 computers with your paid purchase. And you need adobe air on any computer you want to put the software on.

One thing I don’t like is that their video they have posted on their site starts out by saying something like, “Do you ever wonder how businesses can succeed overnight?” which implies that their keyword tool can help you have raving success quickly. That’s not true, so please don’t believe that.

Don’t get me wrong, the chances of you getting indexed and ranked quickly for a long tail keyword are high, but you need to build content around a lot of keywords before you have raving success. It just can’t happen overnight.

You do need to connect your Google account to the software in order to make it work for you. It integrates with the Google Keyword Planner to give you accurate results. You also need to create an account with moz.com. Both these are needed to get certain data from the tool, so keep that in mind as you consider whether or not you want to use Long Tail Pro.

When you have Long Tail Pro downloaded, you enter in a keyword that you want to rank for and the tool will create a list of long tail keywords related to that keyword. It tells you how competitive the keywords are and how many people are searching for them, and you can move forward from there.

There is also a Long Tail University available with every annual plan. This is where you can learn all about how to use the tool and make the most out of it. This is perfect for beginners or people who really want to understand everything there is about the tool and how to use it effectively and get the most value for their money. When they say this is a $197 addition, they mean it.

Lastly, they have a blog to help you stay up to date with the software and current keyword issues or events. Not only are the blog posts helpful to your keyword success, but go ahead and read the comments in that blog. It will become very obvious that some long-term, successful bloggers and product developers are using the Long Tail Pro keyword tool for their business, and that proves just how effective it is at doing its job – and doing it well.

What Can Long Tail Pro Do For You?

I don’t want to sit and go through the how-to in this review because you’ve probably already seen that in other reviews or on the Long Tail Pro site. I want to review exactly what this tool can actually do for your online business or blog, which is what you need to know.

The whole point of this tool is to rank for keywords that don’t have a lot of competition. For instance, you may desperately want to rank for the keyword ‘weight loss’, but the chances of doing so – at least on the first page where you want to be – is pretty slim. There is a ton of competition for that keyword, and that competition has years of content, link building, and plain old authority under its belt. You can’t compete with that. The search engines will almost always favor people who came before you and have a stronger on-site and off-site SEO plan that you do.

In short, for most people, there’s no point in trying to rank for a major keyword. It’s a waste of time. It’s much better to use Long Tail Pro and find keywords that do not have the competition, such as ‘weight loss’. For example, using the tool you may find a keyword like ‘weight loss mistakes’. If you can be one of the first to rank for ‘weight loss mistakes’, then you will dominate that keyword.

The Real Benefits Of Long Tail Pro

Long Tail Pro shows you a ton of related long tail keywords, not just one, and it shows you the local searches, global searches, how competitive the keyword is, and more. With this list, you will know what keywords you want to target and why, and that is a very good thing for online businesses.

Too many people create content schedules off blind faith. They pick a keyword that people seem to be looking for, write a post on it, and then hope for the best. That’s not a good idea. There is a very slim chance of success working in this way.

People who use tools like Long Tail Pro, on the other hand, don’t just pick a keyword. They take the time to figure out why they keyword will work for them, and why other keywords will work for them, and then they can create a content schedule that has purpose and potential. The chances of finding success with purpose and potential are exponentially higher than just shooting in the dark with your keyword strategy.

9 Sympathy Quotes That Will Help You Understand Yourself And Others Better

I find that a lot of people are looking for sympathy quotes for the loss of someone or something to help their friends, family or themselves feel better. It’s a great way to work through a painful time. But, I think it’s equally important to understand what sympathy is, what it does for us, and how to show it properly. That’s why these 9 sympathy quotes are so important. They highlight what sympathy is and the importance it has in your life and this world.

1. The Difference Between Sympathy and Empathy

“Empathy fuels connection. Sympathy drives disconnection.” – Dr. Brene Brown

If you think that sympathy and empathy are the same thing, then this is one of the sympathy quotes that makes it crystal clear that they are not. But, despite what it looks like, I don’t think that being sympathetic is a bad thing. Not in the slightest!

Being sympathetic means that you feel bad for someone else and what they are going through, but you do not get overwhelmed by someone else’s feelings and situation, which is what happens when you are empathetic.

I experience empathy quite a bit. I often cry at the misfortunes of other people and feel their pain, which is being empathetic, but it freezes me from being able to do something for them because I’m so caught up in the feelings that they are caught up in. It’s almost as if I am going through what they are going through, and it’s hard to think clearly and take action when you are in that state.

Someone who is sympathetic doesn’t feel overwhelmed by emotions, so they can take action to help that person if it is possible. They can help them find the silver lining, or they can find it themselves, and take action for someone when they are not able to.

For instance, a natural disaster requires sympathetic people. People who feel bad for the situation, but don’t get dragged down by the intensity of it, can see what needs to be done to help. They can quickly contribute on a big scale to help people.

That said, I think empathy is important for relationships where a connection is necessary. Sympathy promotes a response from you, but it doesn’t necessarily make the person talking to you feel better. Your response may be frustrating and hurtful rather than helpful. Your actions may be more annoying rather than beneficial. But when you are empathetic with someone close to you, you resonate with them, hug them, and listen to them. You empathize with their pain, and in doing so, your connection gets stronger.

2. How Every Sympathetic Person Feels About Cruel People

“It’s sickening to me the lack of compassion and sympathy that some people have for others” – Ricky Smith

We are connected to people like never before, and it gives us a lot of chances to be sympathetic to what is going on in their lives. Those of us who understand what others are going through and feel bad for them don’t do anything to harm other people. We don’t leave mean comments. We don’t make fun of people. We may interact with the person letting them know we understand and care, but we don’t take the time to make them feel worse.

Unfortunately, there is a ton of people who are not sympathetic to others who are in distress. They are rude, hurtful, and downright disgusting to others. They go out of their way to make people who are suffering suffer some more.

Coming from the perspective of sympathy, it’s hard to see why these people do what they do. We can’t sympathize with their need to spread hate, fear, or anger, and that’s because we can’t relate to them. Our brains just don’t work that way, thankfully.

3. Sometimes It’s Hard To Have Sympathy For Someone

“I’ll always have more sympathy for someone taken in by a snake oil salesman than I will for someone who helps him sell the snake oil.” – Ben Howe

People who have sympathy at appropriate times are not always sympathetic. There are some things and people they just can’t sympathize with, such as a cruel person or a person with a huge victim mentality.

For instance, a friend of mine has a mother-in-law who lives with a victim mentality. At first, he sympathized with her pain. He saw where she was coming from. He tried to help her feel better. But, after ten years of her whining and being a victim in life, he couldn’t sympathize with her anymore. He saw the ‘real’ her. The one who wouldn’t take action. The one who lied and manipulated people to feel bad for her. The one who thrives off the negative attention rather than positive attention. Even though it was clear she was still in pain – it was a pain that she had created for herself, and he lost his ability to understand and try to comfort her.

Another example of when it’s hard to have sympathy for someone is when they choose to put themselves in the way of trouble.

For instance, Michelle Obama recently said to Stephen Colbert that she doesn’t have sympathy for the pressures that Melanie Trump is facing because this is what you take on when you choose to support your husband for president.
